Shamsul Alam, Thakurgaon – State Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Junaid Ahmed Palak MP said that high-tech parks in different parts of the country will be set up in various parts of the country so that young entrepreneurs can work in the IT industry after coming out of the Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center. Installation work is also going on in parallel. From this training and incubation center, 1000 youths can be trained every year and get employment.
He said the above in his chief guest speech at the foundation stone laying ceremony of “Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center” at Salandar Singhpara of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila on Saturday. He said, this project is aimed at developing students at the SSC and HSC level as skilled manpower in IT. It will establish a bridge between academia and the IT industry by creating new entrepreneurs in the information and communication technology sector. As a result, there will be ample opportunities for self-employment of the youth of Bangladesh in the IT/ITES sector. The activities will start after the construction of IT Training and Incubation Center in Thakurgaon district is completed within the next 2 years. If it is launched, the youth of Thakurgaon will earn dollars by sitting in the remote areas and working in different marketplaces in Europe and America. No need to remit abroad for dollar income. And by the hands of this young generation, we will build a developed and smart Bangladesh by 2041. The state minister also said that there is no alternative to technology education for the youth to survive in this era of competition.
That is why the government is working to build a technology-dependent nation. The traditional business and trade that has been conducted in Thakurgaon by developing our students as skilled manpower in IT by creating new entrepreneurs in the information and communication technology sector, the field is now ready for the contribution of Thakurgaon residents in the IT industry. Through this, a wide scope of self-employment will be created for the youth. Deputy Commissioner Md.
