Neon Dulal, Lalmonirhat – A protest action plan has been taken by the running staff in Lalmonirhat demanding payment of pension and gratuity in light of the Railway’s own code and rules. Train guards, TTEs and other employees participated in the action plan on the platform of Lalmonirhat Railway Station on Monday morning.
The speakers in the protest said that if the Finance Ministry’s refusal to pay gratuity and pension to the running staff is not withdrawn, running staff at all levels will observe an indefinite work stoppage from January 28.
