Kushtia :: A general council meeting of Mirpur Press Club in Kushtia was held. The meeting was held at the club office on Saturday afternoon. Under the chairmanship of club president Marfat Afridi and the direction of general secretary Rasheduzzaman Rimon, former club presidents Bablu Ranjan Biswas, Asadur Rahman Babu, Mohammad Ali Joardar, Kanchan Kumar Halder, former convener Humayun Kabir Himu, senior vice-president Professor Abdus Salam, former general secretary Majid Joardar, organizing secretary Kudrate Khoda Sabuj, former organizing secretary Alam Mondal, finance secretary Hafizur Rahman, literary, cultural and sports secretary Ashraful Alam Hira, member Zahid Hasan Jihad and others were present.
The development of the club was discussed in detail in the meeting. It was also decided to work together to prevent misinformation.
