BSS- A three-day long fruit fair began in Kapasia Upazila Parishad hall room of the district today.
Kapasia upazila administration and Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) jointly organised fruit fair.
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs and Awami League Presidium Member Simeen Hussain (Rimi), MP, inaugurated the fruit fair as the chief guest with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) AKM Lutfar Rahman in the chair this afternoon.
Upazila Parishad Chairman and District Awami League Vice-President Advocate Md. Amanat Hossain Khan was present as the special guest.
Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Hafizul Haque Chowdhury Ayub, Upazila Agriculture Officer Sumon Kumar Basak, Additional Agriculture Officer Syed Shakil Ahmed, Upazila Awami League President Md. Mazharul Islam Salim, its General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Pradhan and leaders of Awami League’s affiliated bodies, among others, were present.
