Bablu Ranjan Biswas, Kushtia- Nationalist party BNP rally was held in Mirpur, Kushtia. On Monday afternoon, a colorful motorcycle rally left the party office of the upazila BNP and met at the rally organized at the Eagle Square of Mirpur Bazar at the end of the Kushtia-Meherpur highway circuit.
Upazila BNP general secretary Rahmat Ali Rabban spoke as the chief guest in the program under the chairmanship of Municipal BNP President Abdur Rashid. Municipal Youth Party convener Sangram Khan Zillu gave a special guest speech, Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Enamul Haque Babu, Municipal BNP General Secretary Ibrahim Ali, Joint General Secretary Altab Hossain, Organizing Secretary Hafizur Rahman Babu, Upazila BNP Publicity Secretary Billal Hossain, Office Secretary Marfat Afridi and Upazila Jubo Dal convener Sultan Ali.
Speakers in the rally said that in order to protect the freedom gained by overthrowing the dictatorial Hasina government, those who are occupying land, occupying ponds, looting, stopping bridge-road works and extorting money by going to offices and courts will be suppressed. BNP has taken a strict stand against all these extortionists. It must be remembered that the independence gained by the students does not mean that these misdeeds are Jihad has been declared against those who use the name of BNP and engage in misdeeds.
