Kushtia- Jamaat held an exchange of views with journalists in Kushtia’s Mirpur.
The meeting was held with the leaders of the organization’s upazila branch in the office meeting room of Mirpur Press Club on Wednesday morning.
Jamaat-e-Islami Kushtia District Branch Naibey Ameer and former Chairman of Upazila Parishad Abdul Ghafoor said that the country became independent after the fall of a long 16-year dictator through the coup of students. We all have to work with the conviction to build Sonar Bangla by establishing equal rights for all the citizens of the country and justice in the state. He also said that the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organization has been working for the welfare of the society and the state for a long time, but some political parties are continuing to commit various misdeeds against this organization by doing lies and vengeful injustice. We do not seek revenge but maintain friendly relations with each other and work towards the goal of the law of the Qur’an and the rule of righteous people.
President of Mirpur Press Club, Bablu Ranjan Biswas, was present at this time, former president of Mirpur Press Club Ashadur Rahman Babu, former convener of press club Humayun Kabir Himu, organizing secretary Alam Mondal, former general secretary Marfat Afridi.
Apart from this, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Mirpur Upazila Ameer Rezaul Karim, former Ameer Jumarat Ali, Mirpur Upazila Naib Ameer Shah Akhtar Mamun and others were also present.
