Akkelpur Correspondent- Ansar and VDP member/member selection program has been held at Akkerpur in Joypurhat to maintain law and order on the occasion of upcoming Autumn Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Santan Dharmamblis.
The selection process was held at Akkelpur Upazila Parishad square on Thursday (September 12) at 11 am under the leadership of Mirza Sifat-e-Khoda, Joypurhat District Commandant of Ansar and VDP forces.
At that time, District Commandant Mirza Sifat-i-Khoda said that anti-national evil forces are engaged in a deep conspiracy to destroy the harmony of the country. They are trying to spread discord by plotting around various religious events. That is why Upazila Ansar VDP officials and members must perform their duties carefully. No officer in charge of upazila and district level from ward to member selection shall be involved in financial transactions. A reward of 5 thousand rupees will be given to him if he can provide information and proof that someone has been involved in financial transactions.

204 Ansar and VDP members were selected to maintain law and order in 30 puja halls of Akkelpur upazila.
