BSS- Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested former public administration minister Farhad Hossain in the city’s Eskaton area last night.
A RAB team arrested Farhad Hossain around 12.30am, a media release of the elite force said.
The former minister was accused in cases of gun firing on student-people and killing during the anti-discrimination student movement on August 5.
Farhad Hossain became full minister in the 12th parliament. He was the Member of Parliament for three consecutive times from Meherpur-1 constituency.
