Md. Sanaullah Riyad, Barguna- Cyclone Remale has severely damaged Barguna, the southwestern coastal district of the country. Sangram has implemented the project with the help of the affected people in Phuljhuri Union No. 3 of Sadar Upazila.
Barguna Sadar UNO was the chief guest at the Lesson Learnt Workshop of the project. Shamim Mia said, undoubtedly, Sangram implemented the remal program in Phuljhuri.

On this occasion, among others, News Editor of Daily Swadhin Bani newspaper Md. Sanaullah Riyad, Project Officer Nuruzzaman, Field Facilitator Zubair, Volunteer Golam Mosherd Rahat, Design and Documentation Officer Md. Arif Mia and heads of various educational institutions were present.
In the event, a still image was presented showing the change in the condition of the affected families in the Remal affected area and the change in the condition of the beneficiary families after providing assistance.
It has been reported that with the help of Sangram development partner NEAR CHANGE FUND, and NAHAB and Dwip Development Organization Dwip, the Andharmani Government Primary School School Cum Cyclone Shelter of No. 3 Phuljhuri Union of Sadar Upazila is carrying out project activities including field filling, afforestation, re-digging of ponds adjacent to the school, water purification and conservation. The organization has successfully completed.
Under the project, from 1 July 2024, cash assistance of 30 (thirty) thousand taka for construction of farms of 25 farmers in the project area, supply of ducks and goats and purchase of food, cash assistance of taka 13 thousand for home repair and planting of vegetable/fruit trees in the yard of 50 families. Assistance, completed construction of 40 family toilets, repair of 30 tube wells, re-excavation of 2 ponds, water purification, conservation, filling of 1 school grounds and afforestation of 2 schools.
