Narsingdi – When respected teachers are being maligned in various ways across the country, the former students of Baluakandi High School, a heritage educational institution of Amirganj Union of Raipura Upazila, congratulated their respected teachers (retired) and all the teachers currently working in the schoolThe students of SSC-2004 batch of Baluakandi High School working in different parts of the country and working in different countries including Maldives organized this reception. On this occasion, everyone took leave from their workplace and organized the event.
Last Saturday (November 16-2024) B.Teachers were felicitated in a pleasant atmosphere at “Swapnadwip Park” established at a picturesque location in Charshibpur of Bancharampur upazila of Baria district. Students welcome their highly respected teachers first with garlands of flowers. Later, to remember their memory, they gave memorial gifts to the sirs. There were also cruises.
Among the retired honorary teachers felicitated were scout teacher Ahmedul Kabir Ershad (retired in 2015
Acceptance), English subject teacher Md. Abdus Salam (2017
Social Science teacher Md. Amjad Hossain (retired in 2021), Bengali teacher Haldhar Das (retired in 2021) and religious teacher Maulvi Abdul Momen (retired in 2023).
Manzil A Millat, former headmaster of Narsingdi Ideal High School was the guest teacher.
Among the teachers currently working at Baluakandi High School were: Headmaster Md Zainal Abedin, Acting Assistant Headmaster Mohammad Ali Imam, Senior Teacher Rolina Akhtar, Md Amir Hossain, Md Arman Bhuya and Tahmina Sultana. Other teachers included Khadija Akhtar, Jasmine Akhtar, Shamima Akhtar, Mahbub Alam, Md Abaidullah, Hepi Rani Saha, Noor Mohammad, Md Wahiduzzaman, Ajay Kumar Saha, Md Shahidul Islam, Reema Akhtar, Ritu Akhtar and Habibur Rahman.
