The conference was held on Saturday (December 14) morning at the District Council Auditorium (Old).
The program was presided over by District President of Workers Welfare Federation Renael Alam and moderated by General Secretary Professor Lutfar Rahman. Golam Rabbani, Vice-President of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Workers Welfare Federation and Director of Rangpur Dinajpur Region, was present as the chief guest.
Advocate Abu Taher, Chief Advisor of Lalmonirhat District of Bangladesh Workers Welfare Federation, was present as the chief guest, while Professor Abul Hossain Badal, Associate Professor Moniruzzaman Jewel, Advocate Abdul Baten, Advocate Firoz Haider Lavlu, Hafez Shah Alam, Alaul Islam Fatemi Pavel and other leaders and invited guests were present as special guests.
In his speech, the chief guest said that Allah Almighty has given complete policies for workers in Islam. However, without the implementation of Allah’s policies, it is not possible to establish the real rights of workers. Workers come to power on the shoulders of workers, but there is no development for the workers. In our society, workers build houses for us, but they do not get the opportunity to build those houses themselves. Honest leadership must be established for the workers. Because without honest leadership, the real development of the country is not possible.
At the conference, the leaders emphasized the rights, responsibilities of workers and their role in the development of society. The conference also called for building a beautiful, just, and orderly society for workers.
