Lalmonirhat – Organized by the District Administration Lalmonirhat, the Youth Festival-2025 Mini Marathon and Bicycle Race was held in Lalmonirhat under the slogan ‘Come change the country, change the world’.
On Monday afternoon, Deputy Commissioner HM Rakib Haider inaugurated the marathon and bicycle race from the Technical Training Center Lalmonirhat. Later, it ended at the BSCIC Entrepreneur Fair at the city’s Collectorate grounds. At this time, Deputy Commissioner HM Rakib Haider inaugurated the BSCIC Fair, a festival of youth, by cutting the ribbon to build a new Bangladesh.
The 10-day fair will feature stalls of folk culture and heritage, stalls of arts and crafts, stalls of jute and jute products, stalls of local pitha puli, stalls of trained women entrepreneurs of the National Women’s Organization and the Department of Women’s Affairs, stalls of various training and other services for youth and young people led by the government. There will also be a pavilion of the district administration, which will have exhibitions on various folk traditions of the district and various exhibitions on the student-public uprising.
Lalmonirhat Superintendent of Police Md. Tariqul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Mahbubur Rahman, District Education Officer Mojibur Rahman, etc. were also present at the inaugural ceremony. Lalmonirhat district government officials, employees, teachers, students, and journalists were present at the time.
