Patuakhali – In Patuakhali, Bangladesh Coast Guard Base Agrajatra conducted a medical campaign in the Itbaria Sadar Upazila area from 10 (March) morning to afternoon and provided free medical services and necessary medicines to more than four hundred helpless, distressed and children.
This humanitarian activity was conducted through the medical campaign, according to a press release sent by the Coast Guard Media Branch.
The release stated that since its establishment, Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to meet the various needs of the underprivileged people of the coastal/char areas. In addition, the Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to the distressed and low-income people through medical campaigns. In continuation of this, Bangladesh Coast Guard also distributed medicines from 9:30 am to 3 pm on Monday.
In the said campaign, more than three hundred local helpless poor, needy and children were provided free medical services and necessary medicines.
The medical campaign was led by Medical Officer Surgeon Lt. Commander Yasmin Akhter AMC and other Coast Guard members.
