Lalmonirhat :: The Nationalist Social and Cultural Organization (JASAS) has held a human chain program in Lalmonirhat to protest the desecration of the portrait of martyred President Ziaur Rahman Bir Uttam and the indecent comments and insults made against BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman.
The human chain was held at Mission More Square on Saturday, July 19 at 11 am.
During the hour-long human chain event, speakers demanded immediate exemplary punishment against those involved in the incident and called for legal action to be taken to stop insults against national leaders.
District BNP Joint General Secretary AKM Mominul Haque, Organizing Secretary Afzal Hossain, Municipal BNP General Secretary Abdus Salam, District Women’s Party General Secretary Advocate Anjuman Ara Shapla, among others, spoke at the human chain presided over by District JASAS President Shamsuddoha Babu.
