A free dental camp was organized in Rajshahi for school students. The event was arranged by Hands Together Initiatives (HTI), a non-political, voluntary, and social organization formed by students from various nursing colleges in the Rajshahi Division.
The camp took place at Pirgacha Government Primary School in Bagha Upazila of Rajshahi on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Students received dental check-ups and consultations during the camp.
Bagha Upazila’s Nirbhai Officer Shammi Akter attended the event as the chief guest. Special guests included Alif Mahmud, Sub-Divisional Engineer of Rajshahi District Council; Jharna Khatun, Head Teacher of Pirgacha Government Primary School; Uzzal Ali, President of Polimati, among others.
Under the leadership of dentist Maliha Farzana Rishita from the Dental Unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, and with the support of HTI president and registered nurse Md. Nahid Hossain (BNMC), along with nursing students Saif, Mahim, Enamul, Himel, Suraiya, Kohinur, Faria, and midwifery student Aklima, a total of 325 students received dental check-ups, brushing instructions, and awareness on oral health.
At the end of the check-up, students were provided with free toothbrushes and toothpaste.
