Akkelpur Correspondent- Akkelpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Joypurhat district Monjurul Alam has received Purity Award at Upazila level for the financial year 2023-24. He was given this honor for making important contribution to transparency, accountability and government performance.
Joypurhat Deputy Commissioner Salehin Tanvir Gazi handed over the award, certificate and honor crest to him in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Sunday (July 14).
At that time the Superintendent of Police of Joypurhat district was promoted (Additional Superintendent of Police Administration and Finance) K. M. A. Mamun Khan Chishti, Additional District Magistrate Md. Mohiuddin Jahangir, all upazila executive officers and district administration officials were present.
Being selected as the best government office head at the upazila level and expressing a reaction to receiving the award, UNO Manjurul Alam said that the purity award is a great achievement in our working life. I believe that this award will motivate us to do better in the future.
