Sabirul Islam said that since the incident of attack, vandalism and fire in the prison, the officials including the honorable ministers of the government have visited. I visited the prison to assess the extent of the damage. Necessary measures will be taken along with suggestions to the government to repair the damage and make the jail usable. The jail will soon be renovated to make the inmates livable. He said on Saturday.
He said these things after visiting the Narsingdi district jail in the morning (July 27). Additional Inspector General of Prisons Colonel Sheikh Suzaur Rahman, RAB accompanied the Divisional Commissioner during his visit to the jail.

Earlier on the afternoon of July 19, several government buildings in Narsingdi were attacked, vandalized, set on fire, and 85 firearms and ammunition were looted from 826 inmates in the district jail.
