On this occasion, a reception and a friendly banquet were held at the Colonel Shamsul Arefin Ahmed Hall on Tuesday afternoon by the joint initiative of the Kushtia Sector and the Kushtia Battalion (47 BGB) for the freedom fighters awarded the title. Kushtia Sector Commander Colonel Maruful Abedin presided over the function, while Deputy Commissioner Taufiqur Rahman, 47 BGB Commander Lt. Colonel Mahbub Murshed Rahman, Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman, General Staff Officer of Kushtia Sector Major Shafiqul Islam and others were present.
