On this occasion, an anti-drug meeting was held at Shaheed Colonel Shamsul Arefin Hall on Monday morning. Kushtia Sector Commander Colonel Maruful Abedin was the chief guest at the program conducted by 47 BGB Assistant Director Zakirul Islam. 47 BGB Commander Lt. Colonel Mahbub Murshed Rahman delivered a welcome speech at the program. Later, the guests were presented with 9,368 bottles of foreign liquor, 11,000 bottles of phensidyl, 127 kg of marijuana, 124,577 packets of leaf bidi, 7,247 packets of yaba, 22 kg of cocaine, 1,350 packets of Viagra, 8 kg 600 grams of heroin, 56 bottles of LSD and 1,87,677 packets of various tablets seized by 47 BGB at different times.
