Golam Mowla, Shibchar (Madaripur) :: To raise public awareness about the BNP’s recently announced 31-point reform agenda aimed at restructuring the state system, a leaflet distribution campaign was held in Shibchar upazila of Madaripur on Saturday (October 19).
The program began in the afternoon and continued into the night, covering several areas including Utarail Bridge’s twin markets on both sides of the bridge and Shiruyail Bazar, among others.
The campaign was led by Md. Rokon Uddin Miah, Supreme Court lawyer, Assistant General Secretary of the Central Nationalist Lawyers’ Forum, and BNP nomination aspirant for Madaripur-1 (Shibchar) constituency.
Among those present were Md. Borhan Uddin Khan, President of Shibchar Upazila Zia Parishad; Liton, President of Shibchar Municipality Zia Parishad; and Alamgir Khondokar, President of the newly formed BNP Shiruyail Union Committee, along with other local leaders and activists.
During the event, Rokon Uddin Miah urged prayers for Begum Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman, expressing his commitment to move forward with the youth to strengthen the party.
In his address, Alamgir Khondokar expressed confidence that the people of Shiruyail Union would vote to ensure BNP’s victory in the upcoming election.
