The great institution of Bishwa Zaker Manzil was established by Bishwa Wali Hayrat Khaja Baba Faridpuri in 1354 Bengal at Atarshi village in Sadarpur, Faridpur.
He started spreading the true path of the Prophet (PBUH) by setting up a Zaker camp in the secluded village of Atrashi. The day Khaja Baba first came to Atrashi was the day of Eid al-Adha. He saw people going to the fields with ploughs and yokes on that Eid day. There was no prayer in this area, no society. There were no rich, wealthy, knowledgeable, or virtuous people. Cows were not sacrificed. The Muslims of this area considered cow meat untouchable. They did not know Islam. There was a Hindu landlord’s house next door. The Muslims of this area used to participate in the puja of the landlord’s house; they ate the prasad of the puja. They loved Hindu customs. They followed Hindu customs. Islamic ideals and values were unfamiliar to them. There was no other village in Bangladesh as poor as Atrashi. On that Eid day, Khaja Baba offered the holy Eid al-Adha prayers with three people. He prayed to God, “O God!
These three/four of us have offered Eid prayers. Please establish a large Eid congregation here.”
By the grace of Almighty God, a huge Eid congregation was held here today. Lakhs of people recited Najam together.
