Lalmonirhat:: The Lalmonirhat district administration has come forward to expand higher education opportunities with the aim of creating an enlightened Lalmonirhat. Financial assistance has been provided to 6 meritorious students from remote areas of the district who have got admission in various higher education institutions of the country including Dhaka University and Jagannath University.
Deputy Commissioner Muha. Rashedul Haque Pradhan officially handed over the assistance to the students at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room on Wednesday (April 15) afternoon.
At this time, the Deputy Commissioner said that under the guidance of Asadul Habib Dulu, Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Relief and Disaster Management and Member of Parliament for Lalmonirhat Sadar constituency, the district administration is working relentlessly to build “Alokit Lalmonirhat”. He expressed hope that such initiatives will continue in the future to help talented students become competent and skilled citizens.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Russell Mia and senior officials of the district administration were present at the event.
