Sk. Ashadul Haque (Sonet), Madaripur:: An exchange meeting was held with the new Deputy Commissioner of Madaripur, Miz Morzina Akhter, officials of various departments of Rajair Upazila, Union Parishad chairmen and representatives of civil society on Monday (June 8) at 12 noon in the upazila conference room. Upazila executive officer Md. Mahfuzul Haque presided over this discussion meeting organized by Rajair upazila administration. Madaripur Deputy Commissioner Ms. Morjina Akhtar spoke as the chief guest.

Besides, all the officers and employees of Rajair Upazila, UP Chairman, Freedom Fighters members, Journalists, Upazila BNP leaders and civil society representatives were present in the meeting. The speakers gave special importance to juvenile gangs from the society, establishment of good governance, ensuring transparency and accountability, activities of village courts. At the same time, he issued a stern warning against human trafficking and drugs.
In his speech, the District Commissioner expressed his new conviction to make his district modern and citizen-friendly.
