Kushtia- Kushtia Municipal Mirpur 46th anniversary of BNP was celebrated at the initiative of BNP.
On Sunday morning, the celebration of the founding anniversary was auspiciously inaugurated by hoisting the party and national flags. Later at 5:00 PM at BNP party office under the chairmanship of Municipal BNP President Abdur Rashid, Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Enamul Haque Babu, Municipal BNP General Secretary Ibrahim Ali, Upazila BNP Office Secretary Marfat Afridi, Publicity Secretary Billal Hossain. , Municipal BNP Joint General Secretary Altab Hossain, Upazila Swachhasevak Dal Leader Rafiqul Islam, Municipal Youth Dal Convener Sangram Khan Zillu, Joint Convener Nariuzzaman Rana, Student Leaders Milan Mondal, Nasim Mondal and various leaders of BNP and organizations were present.
On the occasion, BNP President Abdur Rashid said that due to the flood, the 5-day program of our foundation anniversary was reduced and only the foundation anniversary day was being celebrated informally. He also said that this year’s program of the party’s 46th founding anniversary includes hoisting the party flag at the party’s upazila office and paying tribute to the party’s founder and promulgator of independence, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, and the suffering of flood-affected people will be eased, and a doa mahfil is being held to seek forgiveness for those killed in the recent anti-discrimination movement. Meanwhile, 13 unions of the upazila celebrated the foundation anniversary of the union BNP separately.
