Shamsul Alam- One person died in BSF firing, another injured in Thakurgaon’s Baliadangi border. The father is undergoing treatment in Rangpur after being shot while bringing the body of the child killed in BSF firing. Mr. Jayant Kumar Singh (15), a teenager, was shot dead when Indian Dingapara BSF soldiers opened fire on him while trying to infiltrate into India from the side of Main Pillar 393 of Dhantala BGB border late on Monday (September 9). son Meanwhile, two Bangladeshis including the father of the deceased, Shri Mahadev Kumar Singh, were injured. The injured are Sri Mahadev Kumar Singh of Fakir Bhitha Bel Pukur village and Bangthu Mohammad, son of Darbar Ali of Nitaldoba village. They fled from India to Bangladesh and are reportedly undergoing treatment at a secret clinic in Rangpur. Samar Kumar Chattopadhyay, Chairman of Dhantala Union, said that the incident is of my union. I heard that first the boy went to cross the border to cross into India. Then the BSF shot him. Later her father went to the border to fetch her body. The BSF again shot his father in the leg. He is currently under treatment in Rangpur. Confirming the matter, the officer-in-charge of Baliadangi police station Feroz Kabir said, why they went to the border could not be confirmed. However, the body of the deceased is in the custody of BSF. In this regard Thakurgaon Battalion (50 BGB) battalion captain Lt. Colonel Md. Tanzir Ahmad said, I have heard such an incident.
