Actress Halle Berry stunned in a unique style at the premiere of ‘Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ on the red carpet of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. From the beginning, the festival authorities have introduced several strict rules. For example, gowns with extra-long trains or excessively revealing clothes are prohibited. As a result, Berry had to change her outfit plan at the last minute.
In this new situation, Berry chose a high-low cut gown by designer Celia Critarioti. The top part of it was black strapless, and the bottom part was a pink ginger print voluminous skirt, which was slightly above the knee.
The shoes were black, pointed toe and made of high stiletto heels. The special attraction was her ankle strap with a shiny design like pearls, which added a dazzling touch to her look. Usually, shoes are hidden under the long gowns of the Cannes Festival, but this time Berry showed off her shoes in an exceptional way.
Her body had minimal jewelry, just a sparkling opal-colored statement necklace. The makeup was in warm tones. Bronze eyeshadow, soft matte lipstick and a touch of light contour on the cheeks. Her hair was a slightly curly playful bob cut, which makes the whole look more fresh and modern.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival began on May 13 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, southern France. It will continue until May 24. The most attractive aspect of this festival is the red carpet phase. In this phase, the world’s famous actresses, singers and models walk in extravagant outfits. This year, 22 films have been selected in the main competition section. In addition, films of different genres and countries will be shown in each section – ‘Un Sarte Riga’, ‘Out of Competition’, ‘Midnight Screenings’, ‘Cannes Premiere’ and ‘Special Screenings’.
