Lalmonirhat :: Police have recovered the hanging bodies of two people, Saiful Islam (37) and Tushar Chandra Barman (18), in separate incidents in Lalmonirhat.
On Monday (July 7) morning, police recovered the body of night guard Saiful from the room of the Haribhanga Dargarpar Government Primary School in Mahendranagar Union of the district headquarters and later the body of college student Tushar Chandra from the staff quarters of the district headquarters hospital.
The deceased, Saiful Islam, was the son of the deceased Abdul Gafur, a resident of Telipara in the union. Saiful had been working as an office assistant and night watchman at the government primary school for 11 years. He used to stay at the institution at night. On the other hand, the deceased, Tushar Chandra Barman, was the son of Paresh Chandra, a resident of Pirganj upazila of Rangpur and a student of the government college in Aditmari upazila of the district. It is learnt that he used to stay with his aunt Kanak Rani, a staff nurse working at Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital.
Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station OC Mohammad Nurnabi said that the body was recovered after locals found it hanging from a fan in a room of Haribhanga Darogarpar Government Primary School around 9:30 am on Monday. Later, at 11:30 am, they received information that the body of a college student named Tushar Chandra was found hanging from the staff quarters of Sadar Hospital. He also said that the bodies of the two have been handed over to the family after the post-mortem report as there was no complaint from the family of the deceased.
