Neon Dulal, Lalmonirhat:: The three-day Land Service Fair-2026 has concluded in Lalmonirhat with the theme “People-Friendly Automated Land Management: Protected Land, Prosperous Future”.
The closing ceremony of the fair, organized by the district administration and Sadar Upazila administration and in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, was held on Wednesday at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium (New).
During the three-day fair, various land services were provided to the general public at 11 stalls of Sadar Upazila and Municipality. In addition, various service activities were conducted to make citizens aware of land services.
The seminar held on the closing day discussed modernization of land services, digital management, and simplification of citizen services. During this, invited guests answered various questions from the audience and listened to the opinions of the general public.
Deputy Commissioner Muha. Rashedul Haque Pradhan delivered the presiding speech at the seminar. District Council Administrator AKM Mominul Haque, Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdul Hakim, Additional Deputy Commissioner Russell Mia, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) J. R. Sarwar and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mononit Das were present as special guests. In addition, officials of various government departments, students, journalists and service recipients were present at the program.
At the end of the program, financial assistance was given to the meritorious students. In addition, the best stalls and service providers participating in the land service fair were honored. At the same time, the guests presented prizes and honors to the winning students who participated in various quiz competitions.
The district administration said that such arrangements will play an important role in delivering fast, easy, and transparent services to the doorsteps of the people through modern and automated land management.
